The Thin Man is a 1934 movie about how much nicer Christmas was without the Volstead Act.

I bet I can eat this candle faster

It also tells the origin story of the American Bar Association (DO YOU SEE WHAT I DID HERE I am trying but I think that candle joke is the best I've got for this movie is PERFECT.)
